Electroman LLC is a wholly Omani owned, ISO 9001 certified company, established in 1974 in response to the Sultanate's accelerating hi-tech requirements.
Initially Electroman was significantly involved with the MoD and provided;
However, in early 2000, as MOD embarked on a rigorous Omanisation programme to do their own 2nd and 3rd line support, the business focus for Electroman changed. As the company realigned its core business, we have diversified into other markets, and have been continually increasing our portfolio ever since.
With a mission to achieve the aim of identifying and fulfilling the growing needs of the Sultanate, the Company, since its inception, has undertaken sustained and systematic efforts to develop consolidate and expand its product range and resources.
This has now led to the Company achieving widespread domestic and international recognition with over 30 years of experience providing the Sultanate with professional telecommunications, electronic and fire protection services, from turnkey systems to part solutions, involving consultants, supply, system integration and ongoing support. Electroman supports military, civil and commercial organisations with widely diverse equipment and aims to achieve optimum results in quality, safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Electroman covers six basic core functions:
Paul John Brown
Paul has operational, training and management experience in the private, public and voluntary sectors in the UK. He served as a platoon commander, with regular and reserve forces in the British Armed Forces, including the volunteer Parachute Regiment and the Royals Marines Reserve.
After leaving the military, Paul taught outdoor education and was a partner in a very successful management development company, before joining the fire service. He served as a fire officer with two UK Fire & Rescue Services, and was seconded to the internationally renowned Fire Service College in Moreton-In-Marsh, reaching the rank of Group Manager
He has been with Electroman since 2011.
Director of Sales
Simon has with a military background, serving with the British Armed Forces, specifically with the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers as an Electrical Engineer.
After serving in HM Forces, Simon worked for the largest Insurance backed extended warranty provider in the UK as one of their Senior Engineers in London and then running their North West operation in Manchester. Simon first moved to the Gulf in 1997 where he ran the extended warranty business for ONIC based in Dubai. Following successful stints in KSA and Qatar he moved back to the UK where he opened his own Fire & Security business and most recently worked for Tyco in Kuwait as their Country manager. Simons motto "Arte Et Marte" or by Skill and by Fighting is at the core of his success to date and by all means leaves no stone unturned to achieve excellence.
John Richard Machin
Director of Operations
John is an Aerospace apprentice trained Mechanical Engineer who has benefited from great exposure to varied, yet cutting edge technologies within the Aerospace, Automotive, Fire, Security and Communication industries.
He has gained specific knowledge of world leading assembly and manufacturing systems through years of working with Tier 1 Aerospace manufacturing companies. In more recent years John has worked for the world's largest Fire Protection Company as a Project Engineer and Contracts Execution Manager whilst undertaking many prestigious projects throughout numerous countries around the world before moving to Oman to fulfil the role as Director of Operations for Electroman.
John is a committed and motivated manager of engineering, people and systems who brings a wealth of experience and ideas to Electroman.
Abdullah Saif Al Khaduri
Director of Service Support
Abdullah brings 35 years of military experience from RNO, retiring with the rank of Ra'id (Major). Since then he has been instrumental in organising flotillas for National Day celebrations, as well as being involved with numerous local business.
He bring strong Omani leadership to Electroman, and combined with his ability to network and his knowledge of military affairs is an invaluable asset to the growth and structure of Electroman.
